2024 BECAP HIGHLIGHTS @ ALTASEA
Dakar got the invitation to courtesy of LAEDC, California Jobs First, for an event that opened a whole world of opportunities and some questions about the Blue Economy. I’ve been exposed to the Green Economy, but this one seems to have more legs for sustainability sake. With lithium batteries giving some pause to think about the long-term negative effect on “saving the planet” campaigns, I’d like to think there are no such issues with the Ocean and all of its properties. I hope this summit gives our apprentices some intellectual curiosity to do research and investigation. Below are some excerpts from the day long experience @ AltaSea in San Pedro, Berth 60.
