Ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, the Dakar Foundation is assembling a proposed coalition of leaders across Connected TV +Direct-to-Device satellite connectivity, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence.
Our objective is to translate this technological convergence into commercially viable demonstrations, new distribution opportunities, and a trained human–AI workforce capable of operating the next generation of connected media systems. We call this this effort the Strategic AI Command.
We are inviting a select group of corporations to contribute in four specific areas: technical expertise and platforms; funding for workforce training and fellowships; applied research and data support; and deployment-ready demonstrations that can be tested, measured, and scaled before LA28.
We ask each executive leader to designate a senior sponsor within the next 30 days—by [date]—and authorize that sponsor to join a working session with the Dakar Foundation within the following two weeks.
Before that session, please identify your organization’s preferred contribution area, decision-maker, and available resources. The session will conclude with a confirmed commitment, agreed success metrics, named owners, and a jointly approved 90-day action Strategic Ai Command Mission.
Within those 90 days, participating organizations will deliver at least one deployment-ready demonstration, define a measurable pathway to commercial scale, and establish workforce commitments, including training, fellowships, or other talent-development opportunities.
Progress will be assessed against agreed targets for technical readiness, audience or distribution reach, commercial potential, and the number of people trained or placed. Each organization will provide a brief progress update at 30, 60, and 90 days so the coalition can resolve barriers quickly and keep delivery on schedule.
Please reply with your designated senior sponsor and preferred working-session availability within 30 days. The immediate ask is simple: name the sponsor, select a contribution area, and come prepared to commit resources and outcomes. This commitment will give the coalition a clear path from executive alignment to tested results before LA28—and create a foundation for sustained collaboration across connected media, communications, and AI.
